Last updated: February 2026

1. Overview

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Snipsco handles information when you use our Service. Snipsco is designed to work entirely in your browser, meaning most of your data never leaves your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Snipsco does not:

  • Require account registration or collect personal information.
  • Send your code snippets or canvas data to any server.
  • Track your usage with advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Local Storage

Your canvas state (code snippets, shapes, and other elements) is saved automatically to your browser's localStorage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. Server-Side Features

Snipsco uses a server-side endpoint to format your code for display purposes. When you request code formatting, the relevant code snippet is sent to our formatting API and the formatted result is returned. This data is not stored on our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

Snipsco may load fonts or assets from third-party CDNs. These services may collect standard request metadata (such as IP address) according to their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Cookies may be set by the browser for essential session functionality only.

7. Children's Privacy

Snipsco is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
