To turn HTML code into an image, render it and capture the result as a PNG or JPG. The quickest way is to paste the markup into the HTML code to image converter, check the live preview, and click Download PNG. It runs in your browser, so the code isn't sent to a server and you don't need an account.

How to convert HTML code to an image

  1. Copy your HTML. A fragment like a <div> card works, and so does a full document; the converter extracts the <body> for you.
  2. Open the HTML code to image converter and paste it, or click Upload .html file (up to 500 KB).
  3. Check the preview. That's what the image will look like.
  4. Pick an export width: 800, 1200 or 1600 px. The height follows the content, so nothing gets cut off.
  5. Click Download PNG, or open the arrow menu for Download JPEG or Copy to clipboard.

PNG or JPG?

  • PNG keeps transparent areas. Use it for UI components, badges and anything you'll place on another background.
  • JPG fills the background with white. Use it where only JPG is accepted, or when file size matters more than transparency.

Copy to clipboard always gives you a PNG.

If the image doesn't look like your page

The converter cleans the markup before rendering it, which explains most surprises:

  • Scripts don't run. <script> tags and event handlers like onclick are removed. If JavaScript builds part of your page, the image won't include that part. Paste the final HTML instead, for example by copying the element from your browser's DevTools (right-click → Copy → Copy outerHTML).
  • Styles need to come with the HTML. Inline style attributes and <style> blocks work, and so do <link rel="stylesheet"> tags in the head. Styles that live only in your site's own CSS files won't apply unless you include them.
  • Set a width on the content. Your layout is drawn at the export width you pick. If it looks stretched, put the content in a container with a fixed max-width.

FAQ

Is the HTML to image converter free? Yes. It's free, needs no account, and the conversion happens in your browser.

Is my HTML uploaded anywhere? No. The preview and export run locally in your browser.

Can I convert a full web page from a URL? No. The tool takes HTML code or an .html file, not a URL. Save the page's HTML or copy the part you need, then paste it.

Why is part of my page missing in the image? Usually because that part is created by JavaScript, which the converter doesn't run. Copy the rendered HTML from DevTools and paste that instead.

How big can the HTML be? Up to 500 KB, pasted or uploaded.
